Somewhere in the past

Faith had fallen for him the minute she had seen him.

It was the first day of a new job, she should really be more focussed. Not being good with words she had implicitly not catch anyones stare or attention. As more people arrived, the room soon became full leaving only one seat vacant - the one directly next to her. He sat down next to her and smiled politely. His floppy fringe fell into his big brown eyes.

"Good morning everyone! And welcome to your induction day!"

Faith never approached men she was attracted to, but she did seem to have a talent for befriending them, so she had found it easy to speak to him, thus giving her more time to gaze at his big brown eyes and floppy hair.

It wasnt just men she found attractive she befriended, she had always been friends with boys. Her mother had even said it had been since she was a very young child.

This boy was  called Christain, he was 3 years older than Faith and had a girlfriend. Faith, immediately in her comfort zone of "friend only", had felt immediatetly secure and confident enough to just be herself.

Over a period of time, the pair had become close. This had been in part helped by being assigned to work tasks together. The attraction she had for him had gone the minute he had a girlfriend.  She looked up to him as a big brother.

Prologue

"So what happens here then? Do I talk or what?"
"You can do whatever you want to. This is your  therapy session. Im just here to guide you."
"...Oh...."

She stared out the full length windows and focussed on the grass outside. She wasnt sure how she'd ended up here.
Now that she was here, there wasnt anyone to question why.

A deafening silence filled the room.

She shifted uneasily in her seat.

"Ok, well, as your guide, why dont you take me back to just before you started feeling this way?"

She chewed on her lip, wringing her hands.

"You dont have to if it makes you uncomfortable. It just may help you to look at whats happened objectively, and we can see what we can do about getting you back to where you need to be."

Faith exhaled deeply.

"Where should I start?"
